Banyak cara yang dapat kita lakukan untuk membackup data. Seperti kata pepatah “sedia payung sebelum hujan”, sebelum data rusak atau hilang kita harus sering-sering membackup data kita. Dengan demikian apabila data di harddisk mengalami kegagalan diakses atau harddisk rusak kita masih mempunyai backupannya. caranya===>
1. Aktifkan program backup dengan klik Start > All Program > Accessories > System
Tools > Backup,
2. klik Back up files and setting dan klik Next.
3. Point What to Back Up, pilih jenis backup yang anda inginkan, Contoh My Documents and setting
dan Next.
4. Point What to Back Up, pilih jenis backup untuk membackup semua dokumen di folder My Documents. APABILA anda menginginkan lokasi harddisk yang lain untuk dibackup pilih Let me choose whatto back up.
5. Berinama file backupan anda dan tentukan target menyimpan file backupan.
6. Apabila pilihan anda adalah Let me choose what to back up. Maka anda tentukan drive dan folder yang akan dibackup.
7. Selanjutnya klik Next saja untuk menjalankan proses backup dan Close bila selesai Pada folder tempat menyimpan data backup telah muncul file Backup.bkf sebagai fle backupan kita. Untuk membuka file (restore kembali) kita tinggal memilih Restore file and setting pada langkah ke-2 diatas dan pilih file Backup.bkf dan ikuti langkah-langkah sampai selesai.
